This was in reference to a Tweet.  I suppose I could go back through the timeline and find the specifics.  I won’t though.  It’s my birthday and I am not gonna do that.  I know it was about Black women and it was on MSNBC’s Chris Hayes timeline and I saw this and flipped my motherfucking wig.

I’m just weary right now of being a Black woman.  45 years today.  45 years of being ignored or oversexualized.  45 years of being oppressed. 45 years of being over worked and underpaid. 45 years of being assaulted from every damned angle known to humanity including Black men and other Black women. 45 years of so low on the totem pole that even Indigenous Northern Americans are saying ….it could be worse you could be a Black woman.

I showed some restraint and didn’t go off on a tweet storm.  I went and put on my nicotine patch and wondered why I picked TODAY to not have a crutch.

Since it is not obvious in this screen capture the person who wrote this tweet I am responding to is a White woman.

Just so we are clear – the most exalted and protected and cherished creature on this planet a White woman is counting on the lowest of the low a Black woman to save her.
