There is a saying in the world of counter terrorism, we have to be right every time, they only have to be right once.

I slipped today. It can happen, and yes even to me, but I slipped. I won’t retract it, I am not a coward who erases their footprints.

I was doing my weekly monitoring, and before I knew it the die was cast.

I don’t have a lot of room for error and that one slip won’t break me, but it is a reminder that I must remain vigilant
