When I went back to do In Memoriam I saw that on some months I had more pages of posts than I thought. I had a lot to say. The #s are skewed by things like In This Moment which isn’t a category but likely should be.

When I go back through the years, I noticed that during my biggest periods of growth I spit it all out here. Well not alllllll of it but enough that I can go back and revisit the moment and the lesson. Just got off the phone with the work wife and I wasn’t ready for THAT conversation this morning. I don’t have to be ready for it to occur. Truth be told I am frequently not ready for some things yet they happen.

This is going to be a pretty long and full weekend and while I’ve been excited about Monday upcoming I have a little WTF in the bones today as well. I get 2 holidays this year, and I am thankful for that. 2 times to be with special people and create special moments.

If I made progress this year, then that is the biggest one, being in the moment. It altered how I moved and improved a lot. Another thing to mention is me not bathing in ‘failure’. I once was pretty good at that and this year I drained the tub a lot.

I do have things I wish I’d done differently. That is the nature of the human condition. I am looking ahead to January though and the 2 big things happening. In between the 5 city circle I am navigating this long weekend I have to find a belt for the party and I have to prep for big one. I might — just might — be able to finish the project. I still have not decided if I am going to self publish this one but that choice doesn’t need to be made until the editing is done.

I won’t let the challenges attached to the behavior of others slow me down. I also won’t let my own bad habits slow me down.
